Project Details
The existing belt press at the Howard Water Treatment Plant (WTP) required replacement. To facilitate maintenance and removal, the new press must be installed on a rail system that allows it to be rolled out to the front of the building. This will require the equipment to be supported by a steel frame with castors. The rail system in front of the building needed to be removable as it will obstruct access if installed permanently.

Engenera worked with the screw press equipment supplier to perform all civil and structural design work consisting of:
